I know people say to use Bitwarden, but I have always used the Firefox password holder that is in the toolbar, figuring it is safe because it is from Firefox. Isn’t it safe?
Yes, the Firefox Password Manager is safe. Like other password managers, you can set a primary password to secure your site passwords.
In my opinion, whether you choose to use your browser’s built in password manager or a 3rd party option like Bitwarden comes down to features and personal preference.
Thank you! I appreciate your quick response!
When I go to the page to create a primary password, it states that it cannot be shared on another device…only on my laptop (if that is where I create it). Am I reading this correctly?
