Context:
- I have 2 email addresses, one is on thunderbird and the other is on outlook.
- IT department recommends email2 to be on outlook
- I cannot use email1 on outlook, hence thunderbird.
I forward mail from certain senders from email1 to email2 using “message rules”
However, email2 says the mail is from email1.
Ideally the received mail in email2 will be like direct sends to email2 or at least when I reply to the mail, it won’t be back to email1.
How do I make this work? If ever, what plug-ins do I need?
At the moment, from email2, I have to remove the ‘forwarded’ headers and change the recipients. Very manual and labor intensive. Also, message threads are not combined.
