I locked horns with Gervase “Gerv” Markham quite a few time. He was definitely a strong willed character of Mozilla UK, who shaped many governance and worldview discussions.
As an LGBTQIA member of Mozilla’s community my feelings were often surrounded by tension around his strongly held views. Diversity in our views ultimately makes us stronger.
Today, I can proudly respect his positive impacts on Mozilla. Especially surrounding topics like Security and Policy.
May he Rest in Peace, and his family find strength in his legacy.
