I have used Thunderbird for a few years and I have felt it met my needs for the most part. One thing I really feel that falls short is the lack of a serious grammer check tool. The grammer checker add-on in Thunderbird has not been updated in some time. I think it shouldn’t be an add-on, but an integrated tool that is updated with each version.
