Installing Firefox Developer Edition on Linux

Is there a consistent and civilized way of installing Firefox Developer Edition on Ubuntu+Mate and Ubuntu+Budgie? The Mozilla site gives me a Tar file, and there are many tutorials on the web few of which are consistent, none have worked for me.

Where is the .deb file so the process of getting the application on the system is minimal?
Why make this difficult? I don’t want to be a Linux developer I want to be doing webstuff.

Thanks

Was searching for the same as @mark5 . I just went through https://medium.com/@js_debugger/how-to-install-firefox-developer-edition-on-ubuntu-1c7f5f2b6883 for installing the developer edition…

Is there a .deb file yet ? or the link posted here by @andreip is the best bet?

Can we at least get it on the Snap store or something? Even partial support would be acceptable, it’s been 3 years since OP.
