Last week at the All-Hands, we decided that we are ready to roll out the interactive example editor on JS and CSS pages. Here’s what they look like:
A lot of people have helped us get here, but thanks go especially to @schalkneethling and @Stephanie_Hobson for taking some flaky prototypes and turning them into something useful and beautiful, and for putting a lot of work into reducing the impact of this feature on page load times. And to @maboa for writing so many excellent JS examples.
Next steps are:
- add the JS examples to the MDN pages
- write lots of CSS examples
- design an editor for HTML examples and user test it
