I’m interested in the way Tab Center hides the tab bar when it is set in vertical mode.
Is there a WebExtension API for hiding the tab bar?

The sidebar API landed a month ago so it should be possible to make them from web extensions now. I’m not sure if hiding is a part of it though, and if so, if you could do the animation. I suspect not.
The only thing missing for the API is hiding the default tab bar. The sidebar API demo extension keeps the original tab list visible.
