Is there a way to create a Bookmark to an Add-on in the "Add-ons Manager"

When accessing the Add-ons Manager page, the URL you get is about:addons, regardless if you’re in the general section “Manage Your Extensions” (where you can see a list of all your installed Add-ons, “Enabled”, “Disabled”, “Recommended Extensions”), or if you’re in a specific Add-on page / Manager (when you click on an Add-on and you see “Details”, “Permissions”, etc.).

I would like to create separate Bookmarks to each of my installed Add-ons (in the Add-ons Manager).

If I try to save each Add-on page to Bookmark, as mentioned above, they all have the same URL, and they all redirect to the Add-ons Manager “general section”: Manage Your Extensions.

When restarting my PC, if I have a specific Add-on page open beforehand, after the restart, that specific page is reopened. I don’t know the processes involved, but I at least know that Firefox “knows” how to point to a specific Add-on page.

Is there a way to create a Bookmark to each one of the installed Add-ons? Adding an option or an iD after the about:addons URL perhaps?

Thanks, cheers!

Hey @Cr8zyIvan, just to confirm, you want to be able to deep link to the view below for each of your add-ons?

Thanks – Ed

If you were looking to do what I previously described, I just got word that it is not possible unfortunately.

Sorry I didn’t have better news.

Thanks – Ed

Thanks man, I really appreciate the effort. And yes, that is exactly my question.

The last solution I can think of is to always have a Firefox Window open, with each tab open to each of my Extensions, so that even when I restart my PC, they will always be available for quick access… Ooof… Yeah, come to think of it, clunky solution :man_facepalming:

I just found out by accident that Chrome lets you do this.

If you have uBlock Origin installed, you can bookmark the extension’s “Details” page, and the link will be:
chrome://extensions/?id=cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm

I see you’re already on https://connect.mozilla.org/ but haven’t suggested this feature yet.
