I’m fed up with these frames asking me whether I accept cookies. I don’t care, they are deleted when I close Firefox, I just don’t want to be asked every time. Is there an addon which blocks these (like adblocker and such)? And is there an addon which blocks “log in with your google account” frames?
Hey @alain_reve_de_rien, this forum is about Common Voice, which is a project by Mozilla to create Voice-AI datasets.
But while you are here, let me say: I’m also not fond of Cookies, but I care about my privacy and reject all of them when possible. I don’t use Firefox day-to-day, but Opera, and there are some working (so-so) extensions from Chrome.
But it is not easy and foolproof. Some websites break or have lesser function if you do not accept (some of the) cookies, so it should be rule-based, which might also become cumbersome for some. Also, the extension should be kept updated.
For you I found this extension for Firefox. For reasons I explained above, some people struggle. It depends on you usage I think… Please check it.
