Localisation file bug in Thunderbird extension

I have a problem with a localisation file. The addon can read all the values except one. What could be the problem?

You’ll have to be a bit more specific. What kind of localization file are you using? Fomr your posts in another thread I’m assuming you’re not writing a WebExtension?

I’m using a localisation file for a Thunderbird extension. I have a number of languages and they all appear to be working well. Just one causes a problem on one item so it would appear that it must be in the localisation file. I can’t SEE any difference so I wondered if there was a special character that could have sneaked in without me noticing. :frowning:

The file is a lot of lines with variable = value in each line…

Ah, so a .properties file.

Could you make available your extension for download?

I was waiting to have finalised the localisation before putting
this new version out there… I thought there would be known
reasons why an addon would not pick up the value on one particular
item, some sort of special character that had sneaked in…
