Hi, everyone. I’ve just imported my Profile to Thunderbird 102, but I forgot my passwords for all my accounts … Is there a way to recover them? (I have all the files from my previous profile backed up)
Hello, as of today, Thunderbird’s Profile import feature isn’t able to import security data like secret keys or stored password.
The problem is that it’s difficult to merge the data of a source and a destination profile.
If you’re looking to restore a profile, it might be a better approach to restore a backed up profile completely, by moving all the files from an existing backup to a fresh profile.
