Manually setting cookies in Firefox devtools

Hello!

I have one question that I am unable to find the answer to. When I manually use the devtools menu to set a cookie the ‘path’ variable is set to the current URL path, such as ‘path=/t/manually-setting-cookies-in-firefox-devtools/89455’. Other browsers such as Chrome or Edge always set the path to the root, such as ‘path=/’ while using their devtools menu. Ofcourse it is possible to manually change it afterwards, but why does Firefox set the path like this by default and is it possible to change it?

I think your request is reasonable. Currently, the path is always set to the URL path and there is no option to change that.

I’ve now filed https://bugzil.la/1748422 to change that to the root. I think the change should be quite simple.
