Hello developers! I am new to your community on the learning track and ready to move further into AI development, coding, continue app development and packaging. I knew I needed a local network development setup for testing, so I did some research, had the “LocalVPN” extension… and someone got in, and I believe from what they told me it was a publicly shared iOS shortcut that was used. They accessed both public and private networks and destroyed my computer and stole my identity through my Apple device which was attached. There are so many different articles and approaches about setting up your local network and securing it. I’d prefer to learn from you, the experts. If anyone can advise me on the right steps of setup, security settings on my network and Windows firewalls, and apps you recommend, that would be ideal. Maybe we can all share our best practice!s
