Was just moving my brother’s Seamonkey profile over to Thunderbird yesterday. Here I had been figuring out all the steps I’d need to do and the workarounds/hacks to perform in order to bring his mail and settings over.
But what do I see with the “what’s new in 102” but an importer with Seamonkey support. So I removed (well, renamed) the existing TBird profile directories, and then started TBird and kicked off an import. Other bthan it not carrying over the passwords for rthe email accounts, the import worked flawlessly!
I tend to grumble and complain about problems in various applications (including Thunderbird), so seemed I should say ‘good job’ on this long-needed utility.
