I’m running Thunderbird version 153.0.3 on Windows 10. If I choose an email in my inbox and I then select ‘Open message in conversation’ it does show me a conversation but it’s not relevant to the email I chose. Is this a known problem and is there any solution? FWIW this always worked up until yesterday so I don’t know if it’s due to a recent update or if it’s just stopped working for some other reason.
This location is actually a discussion board, but no longer used for Thunderbird discussion or support.
Please post your issue at SUMO, with additional information such as:
- Does it happen to other messages in the Inbox?
- Does it happen to messages in other folders?
- Does it happen if you have done Help > Troubleshooting Information?
- Does it happen only to newish messages?
Hi Wayne and thanks for the quick reply. Actually I’ve been using Client Challenge for several years but when I tried to log in yesterday it told me that my email address was in use by a different user and to contact the administrators.
There’s no shortage of “Contact us” links there but they all require me to log in, which is the very thing I can’t do!!
Do you know if there’s any other way to contact an administrator there? e.g. an email address so I could get through to an actual human?
First, to clarify my earlier comment, this board is "no longer used for Thunderbird discussion or support.
Sorry, I didn’t notice the text “Client Challenge” for the support link in my posting.
Do you know if there’s any other way to contact an administrator there?
I’m gathering more information. Will come back to you.
Hi Wayne, I just wondered if you had any success finding a contact email address or whatever..?
Or does anyone else know of a way to contact an administrator for the official Thunderbird forum?
[Edit…] Amazingly I somehow found an online form for generating a support ticket with Mozilla. Fortunately I filled it in straight away because I’ve never managed to find it again.
And guess what… I got a reply!!
