I recently decided to return to Firefox after many years away, largely because of the new sidebar feature in Firefox Nightly. I love the direction it’s headed, especially with pinned items, but I’d really like to see more customization options. For example, having the ability to create larger pins on the left sidebar would be a great improvement. I think it aligns well with what Zen App is doing, which I find really promising.
In addition, I’d love to control the placement of the AI Sidebar independently. Right now, both the pinned sidebar and the AI Sidebar appear on the same side, but it would be ideal if I could keep my pins or vertical tabs on the left and move the AI Sidebar to the right. Currently, Firefox only allows you to choose a single side (left or right) for both sidebars, rather than setting each one separately.
I hope you’ll consider these ideas, as they would make me even more excited to use Firefox natively. Thank you!
