Possible Update for Print Pages to PDF Add-on

I was a huge fan of the add-on Print Pages to PDF created by The Ripper. Unfortunately, The Ripper no longer develops/updates the add-on. I googled arround and found many people loved this add-on but are desparate that it is no longer updated.

I wonder if anyone is willing to update and bring back the add-on. I am not tech savvy to take on this project myself. I have the xpi file (version 0.1.9.3.1), and I tried to upload it to Github, but couldn’t quite figure out how to do it (which indicates my poor tech ability!).

I greately appreciate anyone who is willing to help!

PS. I found this blog entry whose author contacted The Ripper, the original develper of the add-on, and found why The Ripper stopped updating.

I tried most of what you listed but none of them are as good as Print Pages to PDF.

The Print pages to PDF extension uses wkhtmltopdf to render pages to PDF without an external service.

Interesting but fairly complex. QtWebkit is not very well supported now and we may be able to hack the add-on to use Gecko instead. And it seems the add-on also uses canvasContext2d.drawWindow().

I am not savyy enough to develop an AddOn. I’d immensely appreciate If you could continue providing information about this AddOn and/or tweek the source to make it work as Firefox update!!
