Problem with add-onssite

Help…
After upgrades from iceweasel to firefox 62.0.2 on debian 8 32bits, the add-ons site does not seem to recognize firefox as browser, it’s only asking for download firefox instead of allowing add-on download…
What am I missing ?

What is your browser’s user agent string? There are many sites that will display that to you (for example), or you can view the one actually sent to AMO in the Network Monitor portion of the developer tools among the Request Headers.

Hi.
I already checked it, and since it’s a fresh install, I was not surprised by
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; rv:11.0) like Gecko

Should I change it ?
btw it’d be weird if a mozilla site do not recognize firefox 62 built-in useragent…, no ?
Regards

That’s the user agent string for Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1. I have no idea how you got that. See: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-reset-default-user-agent-firefox

Huuuu ! welcome into the weird zone !
not the finest idea too !
ok I check that, and thanks a lot ! (much more experienced in coding than dealing with http things ^^)

Well, thanks again for your answer, all is fine now, just set to Firefox/3x … and further it made my hangouts works fine again (need it for helping with codes).
Funny thing, I only wanted to make a reCaptcha work for a very silly thing… I didn’t listen to my own usual advice which is “if it works, don’t change it” … stupid me

Have a nice day,
