Sounds like we’re missing proper QA process post upgrades.

How can we build this process in?

Agreed. This is something that could’ve easily been prevented if we had some sort of checklist of what we should make sure actually works after each upgrade.

Another problem we have right now is that we don’t totally simulate this env. in dev. Dev is one server, while there are two on prod behind ELB. We can technically spin up another for dev, but I don’t want to be burning a hole in MoFo’s pocket (the server dev runs on is around $32/mo).
