ReportingObserver API is not working. nothing happened in sample site

I am writing to you today regarding my recent attempts to use the ReportingObserver API on a sample site provided by MDN, as well as in my own code, and experiencing some difficulties with it.

In the sample site (deprecation_report.html), when I clicked the button, nothing happened.

Additionally, I attempted to use the API in my own code, following the example provided on the MDN site, but encountered similar issues where nothing seemed to happen.

I have included additional information below for your reference:

  • Browser used: Google Chrome version 111.0.5563.64 (Official Build) (arm64)
  • Operating System: MacOs Ventura 13.2.1

I can confirm your observation for Chrome 111 and Chrome Canary 114 on Windows 11.
Can you please open an issue on the MDN GitHub for the Reporting API page?
