I’ve often gone searching on addons.mozilla.org looking for an add-on similar to another one I already use. Usually, this is because it’s missing features that other similar add-ons might have.
The trouble is that its difficult to find an add-on unless it’s already popular. This is a classic graph network solution.
- “People who were interested in this add-on also looked at these add-ons.”
- “People who tried this add on, use these add-ons.”
- “People that use add-ons that you do also use these add-ons that you don’t.”
These types of suggestions could really broaden the scope of add-ons being discovered.
