Hopefully locked for comment is just me, which is fair enough as I will always be salty about the various product making supposedly opensource iniatives for ‘smart voice speakers’
From what I have read of proposals I think it will be a waste of precious opensource resources but open opinion from various sources is needed and not those with vested interest in product and $
Whatever the context collaborators is, it should not be locked from others to comment and should be opened again to all and just block me as to be honest I would just be critical of common voice also as from common voice to ml-commons I feel its just been much wasted resources to provide very low quality datasets…
So likely other opinions and knowledge is needed.
That this has been locked and ‘collaborators’ has already been chosen when this is just Homeassistant devs and members of the commonvoice team is already a dubious decision.
I presume you will have to ask how do you become a collaborator and have to argue your inclusion than proceed like opensource.
