Se reduce tamaño de pantalla al habilitar developer tools en Youtube

Estaba utilizando Youtube en la URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_daTfgc4u3k
Cuando presioné F12 para utilizar developer tools, veo que el tamaño de la página se achica y queda centrado su contenido. Esto no debería ser así, ya que no tenía activada la vista de diseño adaptable.

YouTube itself has a responsive layout that considers both height and width of the viewport. You can “undock” the developer tools to a separate window if you want to avoid that.
