On FF 70 it seems as though Select Automatically is broken… I read in Bugzilla that this feature might be removed anyway for some privacy concern. I don’t understand this at all as the certificates that are being ignored are actually certificates that I personally added into the cert.db. It seems that FF just doesn’t want to fix the feature to select the right one to load a given website if it is a private certificate that I personally have loaded into my cert.db.
Is there any way that I can encourage FF to review this policy other than writing in Bugzilla?
Can this community tell me if they really want to remove the possibility of using personally loaded private certificates?
