Is there anyway to stop an add on from opening a tab with a page that usually has ads after it is installed ?
I can’t think of a Firefox setting for that (sometimes an add-on will have a setting).
Many add-ons have alternatives, so you could consider removing that one and installing a different one for the same function, assuming you can find one.
