I’ve been using firefox for about 3 months now.
Provided that the variable extensions.update.autoUpdateDefault: false - yesterday I found that a tab with the link “https://www.wappalyzer.com/upgraded/?utm_source=upgraded&utm_medium=extension&utm_campaign=wappalyzer” opened on its own. As it was not difficult to guess - the “wappalyzer” extension has been updated.
I looked at the extension information and found that the extension has been updated to 6.10.63, which was released on June 13, 2023.
This is the first automatic update in 3 months since this browser was first used on FreeBSD.
How is it possible that the extension has updated itself?
