Verizon acquires Yahoo, how will deal with Yahoo look from now?

Verizon and Yahoo made acquisition deal for $5 billion. As we all know Mozilla has search deal with Yahoo, will this change something? I’m asking this because I read few weeks ago that “…whoever acquires Yahoo might have to pay Mozilla annual payments of $375 million through 2019 if it does not think the buyer is one it wants to work with and walks away.” - Recode, or more than a $1 billion it total. Is this information true, and if it is what Mozilla’s board think of this agreement and Verizon’s acquisition? It’s a juicy option, Mozilla can take the money, wall away, make another deal with Microsoft or Google.

If you ask me I would do that with explanation that Verizon’s logo is too ugly.

I’m pretty sure that’s true. It’s a pretty ridiculous thing for Yahoo to agree to. I feel like they only did because they thought Mozilla could be their saving grace.
