Web Extension Warning Message

Hi Team,

We’ve developed a self-distribution web extension and got signed from AMO. The extension is published in our server for self distribution. On users concern in our website (i.e. button Click) the extension is installed.

During Installation an warning message appears stating “Firefox prevented this site to asking you to install software on your computer”

Is there any mechanism to avoid this warning message on self distributed extensions

No. That message will always appear when installing from a website that isn’t whitelisted in Firefox. Only AMO a couple other Mozilla sites are whitelisted by default.

Is there any other procedure to whitelist our site in Firefox to avoid that warning message?
