I’m thinking something like https://foxfooding.github.io/dashboard/ but baked into Discourse itself. I suppose one can already vote using the heart button, but it isn’t exposed in the topic list.

I suggested something like this in the past but in the Firefox OS case they wanted to keep bugzilla as backend.
This is totally doable right now since you can list topics in a category by open+ likes:

This is brilliant!
It’s unfortunate that it’s not exposed in the UI, but I suppose we could add it to the category description (along with a note to heart features that you want to see).
I think there is a js to force some categories to go into a specific sorting mode.
