I am trying to add a new language, but unfortunately it is not available in the list of languages proposed by common voice.
What language and you’ll have to give us more information. If there is none on Common Voice you’ll have to find your own sources for now, sorry.
It is the Mossi language (ISO 639 Code: mos) . it is a language of Burkina Faso (Africa).
I want to first contribute to the data collection for this language and then implement Deepspeech using this data.
You would unfortunately need a lot of data (probably a couple hundred hours) to get a working model. Collect some data and if you want, start by recording numbers and simple commands from different people. This way you could build a small model with few data (couple hours). Good luck, sounds like a great idea.
Indeed I need a lot of data. I was hoping to get this data through the common voice project.
If not, I would do as you said.
Thank you for your help.
