Dear all,
Throughout 2022 Mozilla Common Voice released several African language datasets, including Luganda, Kinyarwanda and Kiswahili - which are now some of the largest datasets on the platform. Incredible community mobilization goes into every hour of speech.
To celebrate this, we will be running an MCV African Languages Model Sprint to mark the end of 2022. You may submit an existing model. We will give out 10 prizes of $1000 USD, based on the judges’ collective evaluation of model quality and social need.
