Autoconfig doesn't work anymore?

Hey,

I’m following that tutorial Customize Firefox using AutoConfig | Firefox for Enterprise Help

It work on firefox-esr brand (debian) no problem ; but not on a more recent (147) version of firefox.

While the /opt/firefox/pref/autoconfig.js is honored (because if I do a typo, I get a error at ff start) the then autoconfig set in /opt/firefox/firefox.cfg isn not used at all. Tipo doesn’t rise an error as it should for instance.

Hence question : is autoconfig disabled since ? (or is there a way to know if my firefox version was compiled without the option maybe ? The version I use is from linuxmint.
