Some e-mails are less important than others, some are automatically sorted into folders for archival and informational purposes.
They do not require my immediate attention but still cause the notification sound to be played and the windows “systray” popup to appear in the lower right corner of the screen and distract me.
Also sometimes for automated messages the preview is not as good as it could be because it doesn’t hit the important part of the message.
Like on early messenger days on mobile phones encrypted messages do not get decrypted because the app didn’t have access to the android notifications to modify them and extend them.
Is something like that possible in Thunderbird or in its future?
