New to Thunderbird, Question regarding incoming message alerts, and potential add-ons

Hello,

I’m new to thunderbird. I often leave emails “unread” in my inbox, until I have time to act upon them. Is there an addon or setting to configure when a new message arrives, to just display that new message, instead of other items that are unread in my inbox as well?

You could set up a custom view with Status + is + New.

Thanks for the message. Not quite what I am looking for – specifically the little pop-up alert that that occurs when a new message comes in. It’ll often list more than necessary, because of some of those unread messages still being in a inbox. But maybe there isn’t any other addon that could trim that alert behavior…
