This question is related to IoT gateway not related to mozilla’s openwrt project.
I would like to know can mozilla IoT webthings Gateway can be used for commercial purpose? or else is there any companies using mozilla iot framework to build their own solutions on the top of it using all the adapters and so on ( something like eclipse smart home framework). Pls advice.

Can you clarify what you mean by commercial purposes?
WebThings Gateway is open source software and can be used for any purpose, but there may be some restrictions on trademark usage in the case of re-distribution.
We are aware of several downstream projects considering the use of the gateway source code in products.
