Hi Common Voice family, I’m Victoria Ofuasia, Igbo Community Facilitator at Common Voice. I’m also the Co-founder of Open Source Nest and we’ll be hosting an Igbo Common Voice Contribute-a-thon event today in the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

First of all, yes, by recording your voice you can contribute to open source. :head_shaking_horizontally:

We will show you how in our exclusive In-Person Igbo Contribute-a-thon event happening on the Saturday 11th October at Roarhub, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria.

Come by 9am WAT and get ready to record, interact with people, and win prizes from recording competitions. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Well, it is Saturday, and related people are on the other side of the globe (night time), and it has been a bit short notice :slight_smile:
