I am looking for a reasonable way to deal with multi-layered e-mail attachements.
Maybe you know my problem. Someone asks you to look into a problem and you tell him/her to pass on all the info regarding the problem.
If the person is nice, you get txt/html e-mails, maybe with *pdf, *jpg,… attachements.
You can copy and past this in a document folder and just have to open this folder to be up to date. (after having manipulated the registry in Win10, I can even browse the *.eml files with windows explorer).
Sometimes you encounter people who are really lazy. They forward e-mails with tons of attachements, in which some of them also contain *.eml files with attachements.
In the end you have multi level attachements which are a real nightmare to sort read.
Have you any suggestions / strategies how to deal with this?
It would be a pleasure if there was a way / tool to get a tree view, with a possibility to preview the data.
