My browser extension Streaming enhanced is stuck in review for 9 days already.
This major update fixes the support for 2 main websites of my extension Amazon Prime and Crunchyroll. This is why I get so many bad reviews and complaints unnecessarily, because AMO doesn’t review my newest version.
Why is the review process so slow. If the websites change their layout I have to fix my extension and if the review takes a month my extension is essentially unusable until that time.
bump, Please get this approved. im one of the user and this update fixes major issues but it has been over half a month since the update was submitted and it still hasn’t been reviewed.
For something like this, I’d suggest communicating with your user base through a first-run notice, or adding a proper homepage link where you can share updates, changes, or delays in an official way.
I’d be happy to point you in the right direction if you need guidance on that. The latter has free options, and Mozilla allows us to link directly to support pages or homepages for add-ons.
