I would like to propose a new feature for Thunderbird that would enhance the user experience when opening links from emails. The proposed feature is an “Open link in” setting. This setting would allow users to choose from a list of installed browsers on their device to open links contained in emails.
The feature should include:
- A dropdown list of installed browsers, allowing users to select a specific browser by name.
- An option to use the system’s default browser.
This addition would provide greater flexibility and convenience for users who prefer using different browsers for different tasks.
