Firefox No Longer Opens on Mac

Using Firefox on OS Sierra when suddenly no longer able to open it. After deleting all profiles and creating a new profile by
running profile manager from Terminal, it will open. Hovever upon quitting Firefox it will no longer reopen and the entire routine must be performed again. Terminal states:###!!! [Parent][PImageBridgeParent] Error: RunMessage(msgname=PImageBridge::Msg_WillClose) Channel closing: too late to send/recv, messages will be lost

192:~ danlach$ _RegisterApplication(), FAILED TO establish the default connection to the WindowServer, _CGSDefaultConnection() is NULL.

Ideas?
