New in 2021, when I click on an event in Google Calendar, then click on the location of the event, a side bar on the right opens up that shows the location and offers the option, “Open in Maps”. When I click on “Open in Maps”, nothing happens - so I’m unable to get directions to the location. I have to use a different browser (Chrome, Safari) to use the “Open in Maps” button. Is this something that can be fixed? Firefox is my browser of choice; but this new thing Google started doing with their Calendar in 2021 makes using Firefox difficult.
Works for me. Opens a full-page map in a new tab when clicking “Open in Maps”.
Maybe your browser is blocking popups? You don’t get a line in top of browser telling a pop-up was blocked? If they still look like I remember, they are yellow and offers you the option to always allow current page to open new popups/pages.
