How to prevent Firefox to auto-check "remember decision" in certificates choice?

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to ask but:

It looks like Firefox has changed the default behaviour in latest versions of auto-checking the box to remember certificates choice:

unnamed copy

The thing is I have a college that uses Firefox to manage 3 different banking accounts from same bank and has to keep changing certificates accordingly, this wasnt the default behaviour in previous versions, as Firefox doesnt remember previous choices and every time this box appears it has “remember this decision” on even if previous choice was to turn it off.

When she forgets to uncheck before entering has to go and delete site cookies and restart browser, usually involves calling me because she isn’t a “computer person” :slightly_smiling_face:

Is there a way to change this so Firefox remembers or at least have by default turned off?

Ty in advance.

Hi,

had the same issue and found the solution.

In the browser bar type: about:config

and change parameter to false: security.remember_cert_checkbox_default_setting

To clear remembered certificates for the sites go to settings - Privacy and Security - Certificate Manager and remove them from the tab Authentication Decisions.

Hope it helps.
