Inquiry regarding the review timeline for Firefox Android Recommended Extensions

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re doing well.

I recently submitted my Firefox Android extension, Aesthetic Tab, for consideration in the Recommended Extensions program via email back in late April.

I completely understand that the team receives a high volume of requests and that the security/code review process for the Recommended list is exceptionally thorough.

I’m just checking in to see if there is a general/expected timeline for Android recommendation reviews, or if there is any additional information or specific source code documentation I should provide on my AMO dashboard to help facilitate the review process.

Hi there and thanks for contributing to the open web!

There is not a generic timeline for add-on reviews.
It is highly recommended to include the source code with your submission, that way it’s easier for the reviewer to verify everything quicker.

I am resubmitting the application for the Aesthetic Tab extension to amo-featured@mozilla.org for review, and have attached the extension’s source code.

Do you mean that you resubmitted a new version for review, or that you would like to be a featured add-on, and inform the whole community that you sent an email with your submissions?

Regardless, this is a community forum, and is not monitored by the reviewers. The best way to interact with them is through the review process.

What I mean is to have the Aesthetic Tab Android extension participate in the “Recommended Extensions” program and become a featured mobile extension.
