Link virtual thing input device properties, to rule output devices properties

I think it would be really useful to be able to control groups of devices (e.g. lights) through a virtual Web Thing input device that shares the same properties as the output devices.

I currently have a set of 6 Philips hue lights (with properties: colorTemperature, level and on) and want to be able to simultaneously control them through the virtual Web Thing I’ve created in the gateway.

I couldn’t really find a way to achieve this(?), so I’m curious if such a feature is on your roadmap and if I can help implementing that.
