I would like to show you the steps I have to follow to login into discouse with persona. :s
Not to mention I had to disable the add-on “No cookie for Google search” and dont have another google account active.
I don’t know if the second click is avoidable, but the rest is the usual flow for Persona login.
You don’t have to do many clicks if you were already logged in Persona and your email provider.
The second click isn’t ideal, but it’s necessary to ensure both that the Persona login popup isn’t blocked, and that you actually get logged in.
In the future we might be moving to a slightly different system allowing you to log in directly with Google (or Yahoo! or whatever), but for the time being Persona works (albeit involving a bit of clicking the first time you log in).
