MLS data samples period?

Hi, there:

this is Charlie from Canada.
I just downloaded the data file: [MLS-full-cell-export-2021-02-12T000000.csv.gz].
inside there is column samples tell how many samples collected which is good indicator. however, anyone knows what is the period of the sampling? is from create time or rolling last certain days?

samples

Total number of observations used to calculate the estimated position, range and averageSignal. This is an integer.

samples is observations starting at the created date. The updated field can be used to determine if a station has been observed recently.
