Hello awesome Mozillians and happy Monday!
I am really happy to announce that we have just recently launched 2 new activities on the MozActivate website:
Build Your Own WebExtension Add-on for Firefox: Through this activity you’ll help connect new developers with an opportunity to create add-ons to solve real problems and make their lives and the web better. https://activate.mozilla.community/webextensions/
Community Participation Guidelines (CPG): Participate in this activity by reviewing the 2.0 Community Participation Guidelines draft and provide critical feedback for Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) at Mozilla as well as provide greater awareness to Mozilla’s communities of how the CPG supports healthy communities. https://activate.mozilla.community/community-participation-guideline/
What is MozActivate?: For those of you that haven’t heard of the campaign, here is a short description: “The Activate Mozilla Campaign aims at the grassroots of volunteer contributions. We want to bring more clarity on what are the most important areas to contribute to at Mozilla right now by providing guidance to mobilizers on how to recruit contributors and create community around meaningful Mozilla projects”
You can find all of the details about Activate, current activities and much more on https://activate.mozilla.community. We are working on improving the website. In case you want to help and give us feedback, here is the repo link: https://github.com/mozilla/activate.mozilla.community
