Reboot and then wait 10-20 minutes for tabs to restore

This isn’t the first time but so far this is the longest time. I had to use Chrome to write this because I had to reboot and firefox decided to install a new version. BUT, even after firefox says it is done with installation, it takes 20 minutes or so while firefox restore my tabs.
Two reasons for reboot: 1) Firefox appears to intentionally slow down the browser to force you to restart. I know this because the only time I run into the slowness is when Firefox needs to update. 2) Just in case it is my PC, I like to make sure I start fresh

At this point, I hate Chrome and Edge but if I have to wait 20 minutes to be able to use firefox to log into my work network, I don’t have much choice but to switch.

Out of desperation I post here hoping someone has encountered this and has an idea how to fix this. It’s absolutely ridiculous this is happening and it ONLY happens with Firefox.

To add insult to injury, it looks like, again, for the next week or so I’m going to have issues with getting firefox to respond (I just clicked on it and now it saying “Not Responding”). Rest of my PC works just fine. And now it crashed. Whoever is building this stuff has really screwed it up lately and yes, I will blame whomever. I have 3 SSD drives on my computer and 32BGytes. Firefox just waits and does nothing, literally not using anything to process or get data from the web. All other devices in house work just fine. and, yes, if you haven’t figured it out, I’m pretty frustrated with this because it happens often.
