Google has a great addon SimpleExtManager https://tinyurl.com/y72myk8b which makes it very easy to open and close and manage addons without having to access the addon through the normal menu bar.
Is there a developer around who could make this available for Firefox? It would be much appreciated.

The management APIs in Firefox would only allow for listing the extensions and possibly opening their options (if they are not displayed within the add-ons manager).
Thanks for responding. I am not a developer so have no knowledge of APIs. So I assume your answer indicates that this type addon is not possible due to Firefox restrictions. Too bad.
