On June 19, 2025, I installed a Coinbase-related addon from the wallet interface. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a phishing application, and it has since been removed. As a result, I’ve had over $80,000 stolen from my wallet.
I am asking for your help in identifying or contacting the provider of this malicious addon. I would like to try recovering at least part of the stolen funds.
now from the same application provider the TRUST extension is available, no response
How can I contact the application provider?
I contacted Firefox support but didn’t get any response.
The only information Mozilla shares about add-ons and developers is what’s available on addons.mozilla.org. Since that data can change over time, it might be worth checking web archive resources like archive.org to see if they captured the listing when it was available.
Beyond that, as noted in our Privacy Notice, Mozilla doesn’t share individual user data except in very rare circumstances. For users who have not consented to data sharing, we will generally only disclose information where compelled by law (for example, when we have received a court order or subpoena that requires us to produce the data). If you wish to compel production, you may wish to seek legal advice to determine how you can do so.
